In the town of Khambhat in Gujarat, within Bhoyara Pada, resides a captivating idol of Shri Bhuvan Parshwanath. This black-colored idol, standing at a height of around 68 cms, is adorned with a Parrikar and sits gracefully in the Padmasana posture beneath a seven-hooded umbrella.

Sacred Site: Khambhat, formerly known as "Trambavati," holds a rich history and is renowned for its ancient Jain temples. Among them, the "Navkhanda Parshwanath Temple," dedicated to Shri Bhuvan Parshwanath, stands as a testament to antiquity. The temple's roots are deeply embedded, with a mention in the "Jaitihuana Stotra" book by Shri Girdharlal Hirabhai. The idol of Shri Bhuvan Parshwanath is not only alluring and magnificent but also pleasing to the eyes of devotees. An inscription within the temple reveals that Shri Ajithnath Bhagwan's idol was installed by Shri Hirvijaysurishvarji in V.S.1636, showcasing the temple's historical significance. Renovations were carried out in V.S.2027, preserving the original idols' placement. An annual flag hoisting ceremony is observed on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishak. The temple houses numerous scriptures stored in the Gyan Bhandaar, documented on Tamrapatra.

Notable works include "Shri Gautam Swami Raas" by Shri Vinayprabhji in V.S.1422, "Vichaar Sogathi," "Gajsukumar Rajarshi Sajjhaya," and "Panchh Tirth Stavan" by Shri Nannsuriji in the 16th century, and "Shripal Mayanasundari Raas" by Shri Laabhvijayji during Chaturmaas in V.S.1727, among others.
