By giving Navkar Mantra turnaround made possible

In this Descending period known as (Avsarpini Period half part of Kal Chakra in Jainism) under 20th Lord Shri Munisuvrat Swami’s time period one lazy King named Dandak Raja became responsible of carnage of 500 Saints including Skandak Muni. And Skandak Muni who became Agnikumar Dev took revenge of this carnage and destroyed King and his Kingdom with this King died with keeping in mind of this disaster and to take the revenge of the destruction made be Agnikumar because of which King took birth in very inferior community. After getting rid of some heavy Karma by taking several inferior births he took birth in the Vulture community where his body smell very bad with ill health because of which it was named Jatayu. One day when a Saint Sugupt Muni wandered in forest where this vulture lived, he went back in thinking with which it got Jatismaran Gyan (“ A strength of Looking into past births” ) and by analyzing its past births he felt very apologetic and became Vairagya i.e. stayed away from Samsar.

With touch of that saint the Vulture changed its life style by getting rid of carnivore and giving away dinner in the night. When Shri Ram came to know about the turnaround of Vulture being inferior community because of part samayik and listening to preaches of Saint, Shri Ram took this vulture with him and accompanied it in his Chariot.

One day when Ravan kidnapped Sita, at that time to rescue Sita from rebel kidnapper calm Jatayu became anger and fought against mighty Ravan who got several scratches on his chest because of Vulture wings. Same time Ravan also fought bravely and cut down its wings because of which it got injured severely and fall down to the ground. When Ram knew this sacrifice of Jatayu he went to the vulture at once and by listening the Navkar Mantra from Shri Ram it died peacefully and went to 5th Heaven world.
