Alochana Path verse 11
Verse 11 of Alochana Path (as commonly recited in many Jain traditions) is:
दुइबीस-अभख जिन गाये, सो भी निश-दिन भुंजाये
Meaning (arth):
- It refers to the twenty-two kinds of sins that beings utter or commit and that one seeks to refrain from, committing them day and night. In simple terms, it acknowledges certain faults that the soul should avoid continually, as part of confession and vow to purify.
Notes:
- There are slight wording differences between Digambar and Shwetambar recensions, but the core idea remains: confessing faults, recognizing sin, and renewing resolve to avoid them.
