Sudarshana Mata (Sudarshana) is known in Jainism as the elder sister of Mahavira, daughter of King Siddhartha and Queen Trishala. In the canonical and traditional texts, there is no well-attested or widely emphasized name for her husband. Jain narratives focus on her as Mahavira’s sister and on the life of Mahavira himself and his parents, rather than on Sudarshana’s married life.
