The 8 Aṣṭamaṅgala (eight auspicious Jain symbols) are:

• Swastika
• Śrīvatsa (Shrivatsa)
• Nandhyāvarta (Nandyāvarta)
• Vardhamānaka (Vardhamanaka, also called sharav)
• Bhadrāsana (Sinhaśāna, the throne)
• Kalāśa (Kalasha, the holy pitcher)
• Minyugala (Mīna-yugala, a pair of fish)
• Darpana (Darpan, the mirror)

Notes:

• These eight are depicted in Kalpasutra and traditionally drawn with pure rice grains before the image of a Tirthankara.
• In some traditions or regional lists, one symbol may vary (for example, Matsyayugma/Meen Yugala is sometimes listed instead of Minyugala). The core meaning and purpose remain the same across Digambar and Śvetāmbara traditions.
