Bhogabhumi means the “land of enjoyment” in Jain cosmology. It is one of the zones of Jambūdvīpa where ordinary worldly life and pleasures predominate, and where liberation is not possible.

• It is contrasted with karmabhumi (where spiritual practice and liberation are possible).
• In bhogabhumi, beings enjoy pleasures and do not undertake spiritual disciplines; still, some may have belief but not the conduct to attain liberation.
• The bhogabhumi zones are usually described as Ramyaka, Hairāṇyavata, and Haimavāta, among others, and the idea is that life here centers on enjoyment rather than spiritual effort.
• Kalpavṛkṣa (wish-fulfilling trees) and other enjoyments characteristically appear in bhogabhumi descriptions.
