Rai (Raisi) Pratikraman is the morning Pratikraman. The first muhurat for Rai Pratikraman is the early morning after sunrise — ideally in the first prahar of the day. In practice, many follow the guideline of performing it within about 48 minutes to 3 hours after sunrise, i.e., as early as possible in the morning before starting daily activities. There can be small regional or sangh-based differences, but the aim is to do it early in the day.
