Who is simandhar swami ji
Simandhar Swami (Shri Simandhar Swamiji) is a living Tirthankar (Arihant) according to Jain Dharma.
In very simple words:
- Our world (Bharat Kshetra) right now has no living Tirthankar.
- But in another Jain region of the universe called Mahavideh Kshetra, Tirthankars are always present.
- Shri Simandhar Swami is one of those Tirthankars, currently living and giving deshna (discourses) there.
Who is he in Jain terms?
- He is a Tirthankar – a fully enlightened soul who has:
- He is considered the closest living Tirthankar to us (from our Bharat Kshetra), in terms of cosmic location.
