Jain mantra for wealth, success and attraction

    8 months ago 2432

In Jainism there is no special “mantra for money / attraction” the way people often think today. All Jain mantras are mainly for destroying karma and purifying the soul. Worldly things like wealth, success, good relations etc. are seen as side‑effects of punya (merit) and reduced obstacles, not as the main goal.

Still, there are some very auspicious, traditional Jain mantras / stotras that people recite with shuddha bhāv (pure intention). They help in inner strength, remove obstacles and bring overall “mangal” in life, which can indirectly support success and prosperity.

    ---

    1. Navkār (Namokār) Mahāmantra – for all-round auspiciousness

This is the highest and most powerful mantra in Jainism, accepted by both Digambar and Shwetambar.

    Text (Prakrit):

    Simple meaning:

    • I bow to Arihants (perfect beings).
    • I bow to Siddhas (liberated souls).
    • I bow to Āchāryas.
    • I bow to Upādhyāyas (spiritual teachers).
    • I bow to all Sādhus and Sādhvīs.

“This five‑fold salutation destroys all karmic sins and is the first (highest) among all auspicious things.”

For wealth, success, attraction? Jain view:

    • The mantra does not ask for money or success.
    • By bowing to the highest souls, we:
    - reduce paap‑karma, - increase punya, - gain shānti (peace), buddhi (clarity), and self‑control.

These qualities naturally help in good decisions, good relations, and stable growth in work or business.

    How to use practically:

    • Daily 108 times in the morning, calmly.
    • Before any important work, meeting, exam, business deal – chant it slowly with faith.
    • Do it without greed, with bhāv: “May my karmas reduce, may I walk on the right path.”

    ---

    2. Bhaktāmbar Stotra – for removal of obstacles, strength, and protection

    • Sanskrit stotra in praise of Bhagwān Ādināth (R̥ṣabhadeva).
    • Revered in both Digambar and Shwetambar traditions.
    • Many families traditionally recite specific verses for:
    - health, - protection, - success in works, - freedom from fear.

Remember: The real Jain teaching is that the Tirthankara does not “give” money. Rather, our faith, effort, right conduct and reduced paap‑karma create better conditions in life.

    Simple way:

    • Start with 1–5 verses daily (with correct pronunciation) or listen with devotion in a clean, quiet place.
    • Always begin with Navkār, then Bhaktāmbar.

    3. Uvasaggaram (Uvasaggaharam) Stotra – for removing troubles

This is a popular Prakrit stotra in praise of Bhagwān Pārshvanāth, especially known for removal of obstacles and difficulties (rog, shok, dukh).

    People traditionally recite it:

    • in illness,
    • during big problems,
    • before important tasks.

Again, Jain view: It helps mainly by destroying obstacles‑producing karma and giving inner courage and calmness, not as a magical “money spell”.

    ---

    4. Important Jain understanding about “wealth, success, attraction”

    According to Jain dharma:

    1. Real wealth = shraddhā (right faith), samyag‑jñān (right knowledge), samyag‑chāritra (right conduct).
    2. External wealth (money, fame, attraction) is only temporary and totally dependent on pūrvajanma karma and present efforts.
    3. If we use mantras only for greedy desires, we often increase new bondage of karma.

So, for wealth and success in a truly Jain way, along with mantra:

    • Speak truthfully and politely (satya + madhur vachan).
    • Follow ahimsā in business as much as possible.
    • Do dān / charity, especially to the needy and to genuine dharmic purposes.
    • Avoid heavy cheating, exploitation, and violence in earning.
    • Do pratikraman for mistakes.

These create strong shubha (good) karmas, which support:

    • steady income,
    • respect in society,
    • trustworthy relationships,
    • mental peace.

    ---

Simple daily practice (Jain way) for prosperity & success

    1. Morning (after bath, before starting the day):

    - 5–7 minutes: Navkār Mantra (at least 9 or 27 or 108 times). - 1–2 verses of Bhaktāmbar or Uvasaggaram.

    1. Before any big work / exam / meeting:

    - 3, 9 or 27 Navkār Mantras with calm mind. - Short silent prayer: “Let my karmas of ignorance and deceit reduce. Give me right wisdom and strength to act honestly and non‑violently.”

    1. Night:

    - Short alpa‑pratikraman: remember the day, ask forgiveness for any himsā, krodh, kapat, lobh, mān. - 1 Navkār before sleep.

In Jainism, this type of sādhanā + honest effort is the pure path to true success, outer and inner – not attraction tricks or wish‑fulfilling spells.
