Yes, there are several famous examples in Jain history where great kings / powerful people, like Bharat Chakravarti, finally turned inward and attained Kevalgyan.

I’ll share a few simple ones:

1. Bahubali (Gomateshwar)

• He was the younger brother of Bharat Chakravarti and son of Bhagwan Rishabhdev.
• After the famous contest with Bharat, Bahubali defeated him, but felt deep shame and vairagya (detachment) from all power and pride.
• He renounced everything, stood in kayotsarga (motionless standing meditation) for a very long time – so long that vines grew around his body.
• In the end, when the last subtle ego of “I won” dropped, he attained Kevalgyan.
• This is very similar in spirit to Bharat: from rajyabhav (kingly pride) to complete inner surrender and then Kevalgyan.

1. Neminath Bhagwan (as a prince)

• Before becoming the 22nd Tirthankar, Arishtanemi (Neminath) was a royal prince, engaged to Princess Rajimati.
• On the way to his wedding, he saw animals tied up to be slaughtered for the feast.
• He felt intense compassion and strong vairagya: “How can my happiness be built on the killing of so many jivas?”
• He immediately turned back, renounced the world, took diksha, did deep sadhana and later attained Kevalgyan on Girnar.
• Here also, like Bharat, a turning moment in royal life led to total inner change and then Kevalgyan (after tapas and right conduct).

1. Bahu-rajā / various Chakravartis and kings

In Jain purāṇas, many Chakravartis and great kings follow a similar pattern:

• Long time as powerful rulers with great enjoyment and ego.
• Some strong shock or deep insight creates vairagya.
• They renounce, accept monkhood, practice very strong tapa and shuddh charitra.
• Finally they attain Kevalgyan and then Moksha.

Names and details differ in Digambar and Shwetambar texts, but the pattern is the same: even the highest kings can become Kevali when they throw away pride and attachment.

1. Main principle behind all examples

• Kevalgyan is never “given” from outside – it is the natural, original state of the soul when all ghati karmas are destroyed.
• Whether the person was a king, businessman, poor person, man or woman – doesn’t matter.
• What matters is: samyak darshan (right faith) + samyak gyan (right knowledge) + samyak charitra (right conduct), with strong tapa and complete non-attachment.
