    ultra navkar mantra

    6 months ago 126

Here is the Navkār (Namokār) Mahāmantra in its traditional form, with simple meaning:

    Prakrit text (common form):

    ---

    Simple meaning (arth):

    1. णमो अरिहंताणं – I bow to all Arihants

(those who have destroyed inner passions and attained keval jñān – omniscience).

    1. णमो सिद्धाणं – I bow to all Siddhas

(liberated souls, completely free from karma and rebirth).

    1. णमो आयरियाणं – I bow to all Āchāryas

(heads of the Jain order, who guide the saṅgh on the path of dharma).

    1. णमो उवज्झायाणं – I bow to all Upādhyāyas

(spiritual teachers who explain scriptures and right knowledge).

    1. णमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं – I bow to all Sādhus and Sādhvīs

(monks and nuns, practicing self‑discipline and showing the path by their life).

    Conclusion lines:

    • एसो पंच नमोक्कारो – These five kinds of bowing (salutations)
    • सव्वपावप्पणासणो – destroy (help to remove) all sins (bad karmas).
    • मंगलाणं च सव्वेसिं – Among all auspicious things,
    • पधमं हवई मंगलं – this is the foremost auspicious.

    About “ultra Navkar mantra”

Sometimes people say “Ultra Navkar” for a very powerful or repeatedly chanted Navkar Mantra (for example, 108 times, 1008 times, or in special tunes). But in Jain Dharma, the basic Navkār Mahāmantra is always this same mantra – there is no separate “ultra” text, only different ways of chanting it (tunes, counts, etc.).
