In Jainism, the number of Āgams depends on the tradition:

• Śvetāmbara tradition:

They accept 45 Āgams (scriptures). These are divided as: - 11 Anga Āgams - 12 Upānga Āgams - 6 Chedasūtras - 4 Mūlasūtras - 10 Prakīrnaka Sūtras - 2 Chūlikā Sūtras

• Digambara tradition:

They believe the original Āgams (the 12 Angas, including the 14 Purvas) were completely lost. So, they do not accept the present 45 Śvetāmbara Āgams as authentic canonical scriptures. Instead, they follow other main texts like Ṣaṭkhaṇḍāgama and Kaṣāyapāhuda etc., but these are not called “Āgams” in the same way.

So, “45 Āgams” is correct in the Śvetāmbara view, while Digambaras say the original Āgams are no longer available.
