Ekatva bhavna example
Ekatva Bhavna means “I am alone” or “aloneness of the soul”.
Simple meaning:
- I take birth alone.
- I die alone.
- I alone am responsible for my punya and paap (good and bad karmas).
- No one else can enjoy or suffer my karmas for me.
Very simple example
Imagine:
- Today you get angry and shout at someone.
- Tomorrow you give charity and help a poor person.
Your family, friends, and society were around you in both situations. But:
- The anger karma will be bound to your soul only.
- The charity karma will also be bound to your soul only.
At the time of death:
- Your body, house, money, relatives, name – all will stay here.
- Only your soul + the karmas you created will go ahead to the next birth.
When you reflect like this – “I come alone, I go alone, only my karmas go with me” – that is Ekatva Bhavna.
Daily-life style example
Suppose you are in school/college:
- You and your friend both give the exam.
- In the answer sheet, only your own writing will get marks.
- Your friend cannot share your marks, and you cannot share theirs.
Similarly in life:
- Every thought, word, and action is like writing on your own karmic “answer sheet”.
- Ekatva Bhavna reminds you: “This is my paper; I must write carefully.”
Thinking this again and again:
- Reduces blaming others.
- Increases responsibility for your actions.
- Encourages you to follow samyak darshan, gyan, charitra (right faith, knowledge, conduct).
