• The vrat / niyam you have taken (for example as part of Chaitri Ayambil Oli or personal bhavna), and
• The paddhati (tradition) of your sampraday / guru / derasar.

Common practice on special days (like Chaitri Poonam, Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, Oli, etc.) is often such numbers as:

• 9, 24, 27, 51 or 108 Logassa in kayotsarga – but this is by niyam, not a universal rule.

For full correctness, you should follow whatever number your guru, pandit, or local derasar has specified for Chaitri Poonam in your tradition (Digambar / Shwetambar, and then your specific gachh/sangh).
