- Avoid indulgence, excitation of passions, or anything obscene; Jain texts class these as atichar (slips) of brahmacharya.
- Practice restraint; even with one’s spouse, excess is discouraged. If you feel you crossed limits, do pratikraman and renew your vow of self-control.
