“Garihāmi vosirāmi” is in Ardhamāgadhī Prākrit, recited in Jain pratikraman.

• Garihāmi = I censure/condemn (my fault).
• Vosirāmi = I renounce/give it up (separate from it).

Sense: “I denounce my wrongdoing and renounce it from myself.”

Context: After confessing a fault (ālochana), one declares nindā (censure) and true renunciation, often said together as “nindāmi, garihāmi, appāṇaṃ vosirāmi” in Śvetāmbara pratikraman. Digambara texts use equivalent expressions with the same meaning; wording may vary, but the intent—censure and complete renunciation of the fault—is identical.
