Simandhar Swami was both born and lives in Mahavideh Kshetra; and the 24 Tirthankaras of Present cosmic age whence came they to Bharat Kshetra, and where did they go, where do they live now?

• Simandhar Swami: He is a living Tirthankar who currently resides in Mahavideh Kshetra, a realm separate from our Bharat Kshetra. In Mahavideh Kshetra, he dwells in the city of Pundarikgiri, capital of Pushpakalavati, and is considered the closest living Tirthankar to us for spiritual guidance. ( jainknowledge.com)

• The 24 Tirthankaras of Bharat Kshetra (our present cosmic age): These Tirthankaras were born on Bharat Kshetra in past ages. After attaining kevaljnana and completing their path to moksha, their souls have gone beyond the cycle of birth and death and reside in Siddhashila, not on Bharat Kshetra today. In our current time, Bharat Kshetra has no living Tirthankar; the living Tirthankara(s) guiding souls from outside Bharat Kshetra come from Mahavideh Kshetra (like Simandhar Swami).
