In Digambar Jainism, the 1st day of Das Lakshan Parva (Daśa-lakṣaṇa-parva) is Uttam Kshama — the supreme forgiveness. On this day, devotees begin the ten-day focus by resolving to forgive others and seek forgiveness for any harm caused, intentionally or unintentionally.
