Jain texts do describe Krishna as a Vasudeva (a Purusha in the 63 Shalaka Purusha list) who engaged in violent acts (like battles in the Mahabharata). Because of his karmas from those actions, some Jain traditions place him in Naraka (hell) after death. It is also taught in Jain cosmology that souls endure the results of their karma for a finite time and can later be reborn in better conditions and even attain moksha. Different Jain traditions may emphasize different details, but the core idea is that Krishna's violence accumulated negative karma and led to a hellish rebirth, not eternal damnation.
