Shikharji is a sacred site for both Digambar and Śvetāmbara Jains, and the main temples on the hill are shared between the two sects. In particular, the 31st Tonk (Parshwanath tonk) is a shrine that is worshipped by both Digambar and Śvetāmbara traditions, not claimed by one sect only.
